“What apps do you use?” is a question I get a lot, and I pull out my Palm Pre and point out the good ones. Last month’s developer conference had a lot of casual exchanges like that. Half the people I talked to were competitors, but it wasn’t a big thing. In the end, we’re all still webOS fans. In that spirit, every week I’m going to feature one cool webOS app made by another developer.
Endless TriPeaks by Endless Wave Software

"Circle" variation in Endless TriPeaks
We released Poker Drops a little over a week ago as our entry into the solitaire game category. At the time, there really weren’t any “gotta have it” solitaire apps to compete with our app. That changed a couple days ago.
Endless TriPeaks is a solitaire variation I hadn’t played before, but I love it. It’s simple, engaging, addictive (dammit), and has a bright, clean design style that makes you smile just looking at it. The gameplay is perfect for a mobile device; a single tap for each play. It features five variations, each with their own high scores, and they are all fun to play.
My only wish is that it had sound, but given the difficulty in developing webOS SDK games with sound (trust me on this), it’s not exactly something I can blame Endless Waves for lacking. Update: I talked with Tom at Endless Wave, and he said they’re working on adding sound… sweet!
I love this new game. I’ve been playing it often and sprinkled 5 stars on the review for it. If you like solitaire, go get this app… right after you get Poker Drops, of course (hey, we have to eat, too!)
Endless TriPeaks is in the Palm App Catalog for $0.99 (a steal)
